About the Presenter:
Stephanie is a LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) and has over 15 years of experience providing various human services including therapy/counseling, casework, and professional training/education. She received her master’s degree in Social Work from Temple University in 2007 and completed a two-year certification process in Choice Theory/Reality Therapy. Since she is passionate about guiding and mentoring, she is also a certified LCSW supervisor through Temple University and conducts both in person and online trainings for various child welfare and human service agencies. Stephanie has extensive experience utilizing a cognitive-behavioral therapy approach (CBT) while incorporating mindfulness principles and practices. She strives to use all her training, knowledge, and experience to help meet your individual and group needs. Stephanie has experience working with adults, children and youth (including foster care and adoption), college students, and LGBTQ individuals while addressing concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, ADHD, grief and loss, work/life balance, relationship issues, life changes, sexual identity/orientation, anger management, self-esteem, sleeping concerns, career difficulties, life purpose, spirituality, and more! She has been offering both in person and online/virtual services since 2017 through her own private practice entitled “Stephanie’s Services”. It is her belief that a lot of our daily actions, reactions, and behaviors have to do with our internal thoughts, messages, and perspectives; so in addressing cognitive thought processes we can strive to achieve positive changes in mental and physical realities.
